The courtyard was remodeled in late 2000, after Marjory Harris moved to the garden. Preserving the space and concrete and the larger trees and shrubs, stonemason Konrad Gauder added yellowstone rock from New Mexico, and Ms. Harris designed the plantings. Noel Canfield designed the iron gates, bench and plant stand.
