Harland Hand Memorial Garden

The deck contains pots planted with Mr. Hand's miniature cactus collection, as well as four long wooden planters he designed. These planters were refurbished and replanted in 2002 by alpine enthusiast John Tsutakawa

From the deck there are spectacular views of San Francisco Bay, the Golden Gate Bridge, downtown San Francisco and Oakland, the Bay Bridge and San Rafael Bridge, Alcatraz and other islands, and the panorama from San Bruno Mountain to Mount Tamalpais and beyond.
